Demonstrate evidence-based practices for developing reading fluency and reading endurance for all students, including students
identified with reading deficiencies and those with characteristics of dyslexia.
In my Video Rationale Assignment 1, I did a small group reading lesson with students. One component of my mentor teacher's small group is individual reading fluency for the first few minutes. Each student is given a book and a whisper phone, then the teacher knocks on the table and has students read aloud.
