FEAP 2C

Conveys high expectations to all students

Students have two different types of expectations posted, one is school-wie behavioral expectations and the other is subject based expectations while in class. Before we begin each lesson, we go over our expectations. STARS and CHAMPS are the school-wide behavioral expectations that outline how students should be behaving across classrooms. For example, how to ask for help, what level to speak at, how to participate, etc. The math learning intention and success criteria instructs students on what they are learning and how to meet the goal of the lesson. We recite so students understand what is expected of them to be considered star students and to be successful everyday.
