This is a small group I did after a lesson on subtracting numbers up to 10,000 with standard algorithm. This is a group of students who are very close to understanding and mastering 4 digit subtraction but they are making simple errors (computational or regrouping) and lacking confidence in their abilities. So I pulled them to the back table to give them a few more practice problems targeting regrouping (specifically regrouping across multiple place values without any zeros) and subtraction (where they have to subtract with 7,8,9). To give them some confidence and allow them to build some fluency.
